Franchise Times Magazine and the Restaurant Finance Monitor have announced the launch of their virtual forum, Restaurant Finance Week, to be held November 9-13, 2020.
Restaurant Finance Week will provide multi-unit restaurants owners with best-in-class educational sessions and will connect them with the dealmakers in the industry: lenders, banks, financial advisors, accountants, attorneys, technology vendors and real estate capital providers and developers.
Keynote speakers will include Jason Riley, a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute and a columnist for the Wall Street Journal.Riley will break down the results of the presidential election and what it means for politics, economics, immigration and race.
Dr. Michael Osterholm, director, Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy (CIDRAP), will join the event to discuss the latest on the pandemic and coronavirus vaccine, helping restaurant operators prepare for the coming year ahead.
The conference will also showcase four student teams from leading university hospitality programs. Students and their faculty advisors from Michigan State University, Florida International University, University of Texas—Rio Grande Valley and University of Nevada-Las Vegas have worked for months to design their best restaurant ideas, culminating in them showcasing their “restaurant of the future.”
